Press Release
North American Energy Storage Group launches as a distribution-first battery and energy storage company
Erroll Fisher named Chief Executive Officer and Wes Way named Chief Revenue Officer as NAESG launches with a distribution-first model connecting battery manufacturers, OEMs, resellers, fleet operators, and commercial customers across North America.
Dallas, Texas — September 1, 2026 — North American Energy Storage Group (NAESG) today announced its launch as a North American battery products and energy storage solutions company built around distribution, availability, and service.
NAESG serves commercial and industrial customers, OEMs, resellers, fleet operators, and distribution partners throughout North America, providing access to a broad portfolio of battery products and energy storage solutions.
The company launches with a bold, distribution-first model, strategically placing the right products in the right storage locations to put inventory closer to the customers who need it. This network is designed to deliver fast, reliable fulfillment across North America — creating a distribution operation built to keep businesses moving without delay.
Distribution is at the core of NAESG's business model. The company is focused on building a dependable, scalable network that connects leading battery products with the customers and markets that need them — efficiently, consistently, and with a high level of service.
Connecting manufacturers directly to the market
At the center of the NAESG model is a direct connection between manufacturers, distribution partners, and OEM customers.
Rather than simply pushing a fixed catalogue through the channel, NAESG brings manufacturers and buyers into the same conversation — allowing real application requirements, volume realities, and field feedback to influence what gets built.
Distribution partners gain access to products engineered around the demand they are actually seeing. OEM customers gain solutions specified to their platforms. Manufacturers gain a direct line to the requirements shaping future production.
The result is more than product availability — it is a connected model designed to create better products, faster decisions, and stronger opportunities throughout the supply chain.
NAESG also operates in a category where buyers can routinely face extended lead times and limited technical support. The company is built around direct technical access, dependable fulfillment through its North American storage partners, competitive volume pricing, and the ability to develop application-specific solutions.
Beyond distribution, NAESG will work directly with OEM customers to develop and engineer solutions for specific applications and will collaborate with manufacturing partners to bring new products and ideas to market.
Leadership
Erroll Fisher has been named Chief Executive Officer and will lead operations, supplier relationships, and company strategy.
Erroll brings more than three decades of battery-industry leadership, including helping build and lead Great Northern Battery Systems in Canada. Working alongside his family, he helped grow the business from approximately $1 million in revenue in 1996 to a $32 million operation by 2021, developing Great Northern into one of Canada's leading wholesale battery distributors.
That growth included building a nationwide dealer and distribution network, expanding OEM and commercial relationships, managing supplier and purchasing programs, and developing the operational and supply-chain capabilities required to support customers across Canada and the United States.
Following Great Northern's acquisition by Continental Battery Systems in 2021, Erroll continued in senior leadership roles, including Vice President and President of Canadian Operations, helping integrate and expand the Canadian business within a larger North American platform.
Wes Way has been named Chief Revenue Officer and will lead sales, channel development, and the company's reseller program.
Wes brings more than 20 years of battery-industry experience, beginning his career with Universal Power Group and later serving in sales leadership at Continental Battery Systems. Most recently, he served in a sales leadership role at Sebang Global North America, where he helped lead U.S. business development across SLI and SLA/AGM battery categories.
His background spans national accounts, OEM and distribution channel development, supplier relationships, and the launch and growth of battery programs across multiple markets.
Tom Klemp joins as Chief Financial Officer and co-founder, leading finance, capital strategy, and operations infrastructure for the company's North American battery distribution platform.
Tom brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience as a CFO across the energy and distribution sectors.
Brien Beach is Co-Founder and Chairman of NAESG.
Brien brings over a decade of experience operating businesses in the industrial sector, with a core focus on product distribution, warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing. Based in Houston, he currently serves as President of Energy Tubulars, Inc., a distributor of pipe products serving upstream oil and gas operators.
Brien has built and led companies across that spectrum, including as President at Tubular Transport and Logistics, a warehousing, transloading, and third-party logistics provider serving the energy and construction sectors, and as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of AmPd Labs, a next generation metal additive manufacturing operation. With NAESG, Brien brings that same operating experience to building a modern, asset light battery distribution platform. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and is an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).
Jay Bettinger serves as Vice President of Strategic Affairs, focusing on strategic initiatives, risk management, corporate relationships, transaction support, growth strategy, and special projects.
Mr. Bettinger brings 30 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private investment transactions, financings, business structuring, and complex commercial projects. He earned his J.D. and M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola Marymount University, an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of San Diego, and his undergraduate degree in Economics from UCLA.
Mr. Bettinger maintains a separate independent law practice, and his role with NAESG does not include providing legal services to NAESG.
Built to carry inventory — and deliver
The launch is backed by strategic partners in the private sector and private equity community.
That backing gives NAESG the ability to carry deep inventory from day one — the difference between quoting a lead time and shipping from stock.
“Buyers in this category have been trained to expect very little — a price, a lead time, and no real help. We are starting the company on the opposite premise. If a customer calls with a spec question, they reach someone who can actually answer it.”
Erroll Fisher, Chief Executive Officer
“Our reseller program is built for partners who need depth and predictable pricing, not a catalog. We would rather earn the second order than win the first one on price alone. And when a distribution or OEM customer needs something the market has not built yet, we put them directly in front of the manufacturer and get it engineered.”
Wes Way, Chief Revenue Officer
